Afterword:
Mad for it! Skunk and the Law

"Skunk is undeniably more potent than other forms of cannabis. It will turn your mind to mush much quicker than if you were smoking traditional strains of grass or hash. Day and night smoking of strong skunk over a period of years or even months will leave you with memory deficit and loss of brain function for years to come. It has a greater potential for addiction, partly because it ratchets up one’s THC tolerance, and partly because if you are smoking it with tobacco you use less of it and end up smoking more tobacco. If you are a young person smoking skunk, you will be damaging your young mind more profoundly than if you were smoking less potent types of cannabis. I would also imagine, although I’m not an expert in mental health, that skunk may trigger a psychotic episode quicker than normal weed or hash. However, the fact is that if you have the wrong genetic code, one or two tokes of the weakest hash joint could send you over the edge. I have worked with many people who avoid skunk if they can; plenty of others won’t smoke anything else."
