Easily the best book I’ve read on the subject, very helpful and easy to understand.
By Cheryl on 17 April 2014
    Format: Paperback
A few years ago I would never thought of reading this book, in fact I would have been sceptical to say the least. Whilst cannabis isn’t necessarily considered addictive I found that my habit increased and was having an adverse effect on my life. My personal wish was not to completely quit but empower myself to abstain when I wanted to. I found the book easy to read and could identify with the authors own experience. I have read it twice now and it has helped me change my habit from an everyday heavy cannabis smoker to just the occasional joint at parties or the weekend. Most importantly I feel like I have control and don’t feel like I need to smoke it all the time. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to cut down, quit or knows someone who does. It is by far the best book I’ve read on the subject and believe me I’ve read a lot over the last couple of years.

    Brilliant Book!
By NikNak on 23 May 2011
    Format: Paperback
After using cannabis for 16 years I decided it was time to quit. The author was also addicted to cannabis, and therefore is not judgmental in any way.

The first chapters mentally prepare you for quitting, and subsequent chapters take you through quitting, and the weeks beyond. There is also a section for those who relapse which again support you rather than condemn you.

I have not smoked for 6 weeks now, and don’t miss it at all. Your body soon adjusts from the habit of ‘smoking’ to ‘not smoking’, and I even have days when I don’t think about weed at all.

If you would like to stop smoking, then give this book a try, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Good luck.
